Kingdom Guide
The foundation the rest of the series stands on.
Our universe runs on laws you can observe and test — gravity, thermodynamics, motion, entropy. They explain how the universe behaves, and they let us trust how it will keep behaving. Kingdom Guide makes the case that there’s a law standing over all of them: God’s own word, given through sixty-six books, written across some fifteen hundred years by more than forty authors on three continents in three languages, and yet reading as one coherent, unbroken argument. That’s the law this whole series stands on. Everything after this course — identity, stewardship, purpose, even how the story ends — only holds up if this one does first.
The law of the universe, and the one above it
Physical laws can be refined or even superseded — Newton’s laws of motion hold until an object nears the speed of light, and then relativity takes over. Scripture makes a stronger claim about itself: it cannot be superseded, contradicted, or proven wrong, by future discovery or by anything else.
“Every word of God is purified; he is like a shield for those who take refuge in him.”Proverbs 30:5, NET
“The LORD’s words are absolutely reliable. They are as untainted as silver purified in a furnace on the ground, where it is thoroughly refined.”Psalm 12:6, NET
That claim isn’t asserted blind. It’s tested the way any claim about reality gets tested — and it holds. Scripture contains roughly three hundred prophecies about the first coming of Jesus Christ alone, written centuries in advance, fulfilled precisely. No comparable document makes that kind of falsifiable claim and survives it.
For those who remain unconvinced, Scripture doesn’t pretend the reason is intellectual:
“Fools say to themselves, ‘There is no God.’ They sin and commit evil deeds; none of them does what is right.”Psalm 14:1, NET
The ESV renders that same line “the fool says in his heart” — a heart problem, not a head problem. This course treats that distinction as pastoral, not combative: the goal isn’t to win an argument but to give you a foundation solid enough that nothing later in this series has to be taken on a lesser authority than God’s own word.
