Living a Kingdom Life, Here and Now.
When the apostles were arrested for preaching, an angel opened the prison doors overnight with one instruction: “Go and stand in the temple courts and proclaim to the people all the words of this life” (Acts 5:19–20, NET). Not the words of the afterlife — this life. Jesus said the same thing a different way the night before He died: “In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world” (John 16:33, NET). The Disciple’s Path exists to close the gap between the overcoming life Jesus described and the life most believers actually experience — not through more information, but through a course of study built to produce real transformation.
What is a Kingdom life?
The word translated “kingdom” throughout the New Testament is the Greek βασιλεία (basileia, Strong’s G932) — and its core sense isn’t a place, it’s a reign: the active rule of a king. Where God’s authority is received, that’s Kingdom life, whether or not it looks like a place on a map. That distinction matters, because it means a Kingdom life is something you step into now, under Christ’s present reign, not only something you inherit later.
We find it helpful to picture two doors into the same house. The Gospel of Salvation is the front door — it’s about safety, rescue, and escape from judgment, and it’s the door every believer needs to walk through first. The Gospel of the Kingdom is the kitchen — it’s where relationship happens, where you’re fed, where life actually gets lived. Most of Western discipleship stops at the front door. Jesus talked about the Kingdom of God more than almost anything else He taught, and the courses on this site are our attempt to walk you the rest of the way in.
